Surprise Swap-Belgium

This is another postcard from my good friend, Henk. I received this last October 10, 2017. He initiated a surprise swap, where we swap postcards without knowing the theme/content of it. So, I was really surprised when he I received this beautiful Alphonse Mucha postcard. This is my first ever Mucha postcard and was amazed by the other artwork of the said artist. He is a Czech art Nouveau painter and decorative artist.

The dimension of this postcard is so unconventional, so, its a great addition to my collection.  Hope I will be able to receive other Mucha postcards in the future. Thank you very much Henk! I love it!

Swap-Belgium

I'm back! I've halted my direct swap activity to focus on some important things. For this reason,  I've been receiving fewer postcards starting last week of September. This is among the last swapped postcard in my collection. I will now focus on official postcards in Postcrossing and Postcard United. Nonetheless, I've neglected my Postcard United account but I will try to send a few postcards after my busy schedule this month.

I received this postcard last September 28, 2017 from my good friend, Henk.

The stamp features the Europa theme for this year, Castles! The castle stamp of Belgium is unique among the European countries since it features not the typical castle but a sand castle with a sand texture. You can feel the rough texture of the stamp! Thank you very much Henk! I love it!

I believe this is my first ever postcard from Switzerland though the postcard is a night view of Warsaw, Poland. I'll consider it from Switzerland because of the stamp. I received this last September 12, 2017. Thank you sir!
