Postcard United-Bahamas

I received this official postcard in Postcard United yesterday July 27, 2017.

This postcard depicts a multi-view of Bahamas, said to be a coral-based archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean.

This is now one of the rarest postcard in my collection. YEY! I would like to thanked the sender for this beautiful postcard, showing the capital of Bahamas, Nassau.

Swap-Holland,Netherlands

This is also a result of a direct swap and this postcard arrived on July 25, 2017.

This features a map card of Europe and neighboring continents with the I love Holland sign pointing down the said place. Thank you very much!

Swap-Belgium

This postcard is a  result of direct swap from my new found friend in Facebook, Mr.Henk. Henk is a postcard collector who collects postcards with random people and vintage themes. This arrives on July 25, 2017.

I chose this postcard since it reminds me of our old decoration in our house before of a Chinese tapestry hanging on the wall with the same theme.

Postcrossing-Finland

This is one of the official postcard in Postcrossing that arrive last July 25, 2017.

This features a line by Finnish artist, Hannimari Heino. Although the line is not understandable, I still like this because of its color.  This traveled for 25 days and covered 9,909 km.

The sender made a short information regarding their country. :) Thank you sender for this blue-themed postcard!

Swap-Malaysia

This is among the postcards that arrived last July 25, 2017.

It's a postcard in Cambodia but was sent in Malaysia.

This postcard features a sunset, casting its dying rays to the sea. The view is mesmerizing, the reason that I chose this.

Swap-Netherlands

This is among the postcards that I received last July 25, 2017. 

This postcard depicts the sport of sailing in the place of Fryslan but officially known as Friesland/Frisia, a province in the northwest of the Netherlands.

The obverse is unique since the sender put designs on it. Thank you ma'am Jacqueline!

Swap-India

Another postcard that came last July 25, 2017 arrived and it came all the way from the sub-continent, India!
This postcard features Rani ki Vav or the Queen's stepwell, an intricately constructed stepwell situated in the town of Patan in Gujarat, India. It is located on the banks of Saraswati River.
It was included last 2014 in UNESCO's World Heritage site.

This is my first ever postcard in India and also my 1st ever UNESCO heritage site postcard. The sender sir Prakash stamped his address. So, if you want to exchange with him, you may contact him in Facebook. Thank you sir!

Swap-Brazil

This is one of the postcards that arrived last July 25, 2017. This is a result of a direct swap and the sender is from Brazil.

This features Capoeira, a Brazilian martial arts that combines elements of dance, acrobatics and music. Look at those movements, amazing!

The obverse features definitive stamps which are familiar to me since I received a number of postcards already. The small Brazilian flag catches my eyes. :) Thank you for the swap sir Diogo!

Postcrossing-Japan

This postcard arrived last July 20, 2017, the week when I received 7 postcards and thought that was plenty but I was wrong! That record was beaten this week with a total of 14 postcards.

This postcard features a coral underwater, it was not shown if it is in Japan or any other place. This is one of my fave.postcard as of this writing. Thank you very much for this Shoko! :)

The obverse features cute and adorable stickers and stamps. Also, the sender wrote in Nihongo. Konnichiwa! Arigato Gozaimasu! This postcard traveled for 14 days and covered 3,182 km.

Mystery postcard-Germany

Another mystery postcard arrive (or my brain is just filled with so much info. :D) yesterday July 25, 2017.
This is my 2nd meetup card and came from Germany. In case you don't know, my first-ever official postcard in Postcrossing is a meetup postcard and also came from Germany!
However, I forgot the circumstance why it was sent to me. Hoping that the sender will message me, please?

This is a meetup postcard took place in Erfurt, Germany on July 15, 2017. Thank you very much for this beautiful postcard! Look at the cute panda sticker and stamp, I love it!

These postcards are tulip-shaped that depicts a windmill and sunset . This is my very first shape-cards and first from Netherlands. Thank you Ma'am Wilma! I love the postcards! 

Postcrossing-Russia

Yesterday, July 25, 2017 was a record breaking day since I received a total of 14 postcards! :D I was overwhelmed by the number of postcards from direct swaps and from the official ones. I received two postcards for Postcrossing and one for Postcard United. What a day!

Here's the last postcard that arrived yesterday and it's from Russia. Traveled 22 days and covered 8,636 km!
The postcard depicts a Church made of wood. Amazing, isn't it? :)

The sender shares that she lived in a village named after the "squirrel house", Urdoma.

Here's the 2nd official postcard that arrived yesterday July 24, 2017.

It features a comic character from Finland. It traveled for 25 days and covered 9,909 km. Thank you very much for this postcard! The character,Gaston is so adorable! 

According to Wiki, this comic strip series focuses on the everyday life of Gaston Lagaffe (whose surname means "the blunder"), a lazy and accident-prone office junior.

Postcrossing-U.S

Two official postcards in Postcrossing incidentally arrived yesterday July 24, 2017. Here's one of it.

This postcard came all the way from New Jersey, U.S, traveled for 14 days and covered 14,383 km!
This depicts a some kind of advertisement from a biscuit product. I like the postcard  since its material is made of some kind of plastic/vinyl.

The sender is a retiree and currently enjoying his life. :) Thank you very much sir!

Mystery Postcard - France

This is one of the postcards that I received last July 20, 2017 and another mystery postcard. May be the sender forgot to include the ID Number? or just another gracious person. Whoever it is, I would like to thanked the person who came all the way from Dijon France. :) 

I like the postcard showing the churches in Bourgogne or Burgundy. 

According to Google, Dijon is the capital city of the historical Burgundy region in eastern France, one of the country’s principal wine-producing areas. It’s known for its vineyard tours, autumn gastronomic fair and building styles ranging from Gothic to art deco.

This is my first ever postcard from France and I like their postage stamps. 

Mystery Postcard - Croatia

This is among the 7 postcards that arrive yesterday, July 20, 2017. Why a mystery? Since I forgot  who sent this or whether this is a result of swap and where it came from. Luckily, Google provided that Brijuni are a group of fourteen small islands in the Croatian part of the northern Adriatic Sea. 

The message is inspiring, it says: "Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do"

The stamps features a somekind of a pattern on a clothe.

Postcrossing- Germany

My 7th postcard in Postcrossing arrived yesterday July 20, 2017 together with the other 7 postcards.

This came from Germany and features multi-view of Elbsandsteingebirge or the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, a mountain range between Saxony in southeastern Germany and North Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. 

The postcard is so great! It traveled 16 days and covered 11,330 km. This is now my 4th official postcard from Germany, thankfully, their postcards arrive early than other countries. :)

Another automobile is featured in the stamp. Thank you for this Ma'am! I love it!

Birthday Swap-Hong Kong

This week surpasses my expectation regarding the incoming postcards. A total of 7 postcards together with the official and swap postcards arrived yesterday July 20, 2017! How amazing is that huh?

These are my first postcards from Hong Kong. It features different flags of the world in different times. I chose these postcards since I love History! I can still remember the capital city of every Country in the World. I gave the 3rd as a gift to my fellow postcrosser. :)

Postcard United-Russia

My 3rd official postcard in Postcard United arrived last July 13, 2017. This is my 2nd postcard from Russia. It covers 9,629 km. Thank you for this! I never knew until you sent this postcard about Fr. John of Kronstadt. 

This postcard features his memorial flat bearing his portrait. 
The rooster holding a pearl is fascinating. What could it be? A story or a folklore?

Swap-Åland Islands, Finland

This is  a result of a swap in Facebook in exchange of a Philippine Map postcard. I received it yesterday, July 13, 2017 and covered a distance of 10,184 km. It was sent all the way from the autonomous region of Aland Islands. :D

Giveaways-Singapore

My 2nd postcard from Singapore came from the owner of the @hobbyhearts account. The owner is a gracious lady that shares her postcard and stamp collections in Instagram. I'm an avid follower of @hobbyhearts since she also shares the different sights of Singapore. Thank you for this beautiful rooster postcard ma'am! I was chosen because of Mid year celebration. This card arrived last July 11, 2017 and traveled 2,482 km.

As expected, the postcard is riddled with rooster/chicken themes, including the stamp and the washi tape. I love this themed-postcard! :D

Postcard United-Russia

My 2nd postcard in Postcard United finally arrived last July 5, 2017.  This is my first ever Russian postcard and wow! The view of the Great Palace is amazing! It's worth waiting if you will received this kind of postcard since Russian postcards are notorious for long journey unlike with other European countries. It traveled 9,213 km.

 Aside from the great view, the sender also attached a numismatic-themed stamps. If you don't know, i'm also a coin collector and combining the two is ingenious! Thank you for this ma'am!
