He features postcards sent by followers around the world. Sir Johan is a postcard collector and since then have collected thousands of postcards from random person. I got the inspiration from him to collect and document postcards.

Last Tuesday, June 27, 2017, I finally received his postcard, in return of the Philippine Postcard I sent.
The Postcard features the Royal Palace of Belgium.

The Postcard of firsts

So the title gave it, here it is!!! My 1st ever Postcard in Postcrossing! It's not just an ordinary postcard, it's a meet up postcard. Hurrah! This came from Ariane in Germany and traveled 11,268 km.

Look at that! All their signature/stamp from the 7th International Postcrossing Meeting held in Bielefeld, Germany last October 2016. This would also be my 1st meet-up card and postcard from Germany. Thank you again Ma'am for this beautiful Postcard. So many firsts in just one card!

Now, for the 2nd Postcard, when will it be? Hopefully it will be this week.

Postcard Swap: California

My 2nd international postcard is from California and it arrived today (June 16,2017)! Yey! This is a result of a direct swap since Ma'am Laura, the sender, asked members of Postcrossing to send a birthday postcard for her mother's 90th birthday. Isn't that amazing? Thank you Ma'am Laura for this map card! I love it!

This postcard traveled 11,923 km and featured three forever U.S stamps.

Now, I'm patiently waiting for my first official postcard in Postcrossing and Postcard United. (But I can't wait!) I believe that it will arrive next week. (Hopefully!)

First ever Postcard from Abroad!

I received yesterday my first ever Postcard from abroad and its from Singapore! I would like to thank Ma'am Leah/hobbyhearts in instagram for choosing me as one of the lucky winners.

The Postcard showed the "Supertree Grove" at the Gardens by the Bay. These solar-powered giant "trees" provide shade during the day and colorful lights at night.

The stamps used are definitive stamps from 2009 that featured flowers.

I expect more Postcards this month since a good number of Postcards in Postcrossing and Postcard United were already received by the recipient. YEY!

Postcrossing Philippines

I joined Postcrossing only last May 10, 2017 and was able to sent 3 PC abroad. Now, I'm patiently waiting for my first ever official Postcard (HELP! I can't wait any more!).
